A panel Discussion organized by French Alumni Association and sponsored by la French Tech. Come to hear some great speakers from Tesla, Wrightspeed, Orsay Consulting and Compass Transportation take questions from Pierre Adida.
About the Event
In the difficult time of the Covid 19 Pandemic, our “Mobilty Disruption Panel” scheduled live last April will now happen on Zoom on September 2nd, 2020 from 6.00pm to 7.30pm PST. The event will be free.
We refocused the event around the theme of how COVID-19 affects the evolution of mobility.
Our Panel will address the questions that arose from the pandemic:
- How are new mobility players adapting their business model? (Concept, Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain)
- How does the shared vehicle concept evolve to accommodate for protection recommendations? (Contactless, distancing, Self driving vehicles)
- How are transportation players optimizing their solutions? (Flexibilization, Flat-bed/Top Hat concept…)

About this Event
The Office for Science and Technology (OST) of the Embassy of France in the US is happy to host a new series of webinars which will explore the future of cities and the importance of security and trust in the digital age.
The first event in this series will take place on Wednesday, September 23rd, 2020 between 11:00-12:30 (EST). For this launch event, the OST is partnering with our colleagues at the Consulate General of France in Boston and will welcome the presence of Philippe Chiambaretta (Architect-Urbanist and Founder of PCA-STREAM), Kent Larson (Director of the City Science research group at the MIT Media Lab) and Nigel Jacob (co-founder of the Mayor’s Office of New Urban Mechanics in the City of Boston)who will talk about the iconic Champs-Elysées renovation project, a successful French-American collaboration.
